Step 1- Read all the comments from the previous assignment.
Step 2- Choose one comment which is thoughtful.
Step 3-
First, paraphrase the comment you are responding to: For example: “Mr. Bello thinks that…”
Then, write a question about the chosen comment. The question must be: clear, sincere, useful and be the sort of question which leads to more questions. The question you write must complicate the comment’s argument, make the reader of the comment you are questioning think deeper. Stir up some intellectual trouble

In leena blog she stated that the Natives didn't share the land with the Europeans because the Natives died rapidly from exposure of new viruses. my question for her is what does diseaes have to d with sharing land and why wasnt there a cure for the sickness.
Sade Seidu said that the Native Americans and the Europeans didn't share the land becouse the Native Americans belived in many gods, but the Europeans belived in one god. My question to Sade is, "Why did they fight over each others belive in god(s)for the land to be ruled by a governor that was choosen by the king?"
Eric Jiang said that the native americans believed that more than 1 god or spirit created that parts of the earth. But the europeans said that they believed in only one god. My question for Eric is : why didn't they share their land but go their seperate and own way?
Luis said that the Europeans and Native Americans had a conflict because the Europens thought God loved them more. The Native Americans loved nature and animals. My question for Luis is why do you think the Europeans thought that they were more important to God?
Steven said that conflict formed because of the difference between the 2 religions and beliefs. My question is, "Why didn't the Iroquois and Europeans cooperate, join and help each other and just be tolerant of their religions instead of having to fight each other?"
Alisha stated in her post that the conflict has been that the people wanted land. My question is how are you sure that was the conflict?
Bruan said that the Natives believed in spirits and gods and the Europeans believed in one god.
My question is why did the natives believe in more than one god if they all created the same things?
Alisha said that,
“Both creation stories agree that some sort of god(s) created the Earth. From Thanks giving in 1620 to King Phillips war in 1670; the conflict was because the people wanted land.”
So my question to her is, did the people fight over land because of religious reasons, or because they wanted it for something else?
Beatrice stated that the reason there was a conflict between the Europeans and the Iroquois about land was due to their different religious beliefs.
Question:How do you know that the conflict realy started because of there different religious belifes?
Brian said that the Native Americans and Europeans believed in a God or Gods, but that the conflict was that people wanted more land and the governor was chosen by the king.
My question: What does the king choosing the governor have to do with the rest of your statement about the similarities between both people's beliefs in God(s)?
Alex Cairdullo stated, "The Europeans and the Natives didnt share the land because the Natives said there were spirits and different gods who created different things in the Earth. While the Europeans thought that God created everything. The similarities is that both believed that God or Gods created the Earth and everything around it. It then became a conflict because the people wanted more land and the right to rule of a governor chosen by the king."
My question to Alex is "If the Natives and the Europeans both believe in the same thing, would they have shared the land or would there be another reason why they would refuse to share the land?"
Maina stated that from the Thanksgiving in 1620 to King Phillip's war in 1670,
there was a slip from collaboration to conflict, because
some people got needy and wanted to own land for themselves.
Both of the stories I read were on how the earth was created,
they had similarities and differences. The similarities between
the stories are that either Gods, or some sort of Being created
the earth, and changed it as they pleased. In the story, “The
Iroquois Creation,” Muskrat got a piece of the earth and it was
planted onto Turtle’s back. The Great Leader sent down Ata-en-sic,
who gave birth to twin sons. They were the spirits who made the
earth good and bad. In “Genesis 1,” God put what he saw fit into
the void of nothingness, and created earth and put it in it. So
you can see that both stories of creation are different and that
there is a possibility that people could’ve fought over want
they wanted because of their Gods’ and beliefs.
My question is why were the people needy and wanted to own land for themselves?
leanna manashvily said, 'in the Americas, Natives formed many different tribes with unique culture and history. Europeans imposed harsh terms on Natives. Natives didn't share the land with the Europeans because the Natives died rapidly from exposure of new viruses.'
My question is if they shared the land on a state by state basis wouldnt the Natives never been, affected making them not share the land for another reason?
Karina Royzen said that one of the reasons was that there would become a conflict over the division of land. She said that if they give the Europeans land, some of them my think they were nice and want more. Then the Native Americans would refuse and then thats what would start a fight. My question for Karina is that Why couldn't they have signed a Treaty like for instance of how many land one should own?
Rebecca said that the Europeans overpowered the Native Americans because of diseases that lower the population.
My question is, if the Europeans overpowered the Natives, why is this a problem that they cannot share the land?
Alex stated "The Europeans and the Natives didnt share the land because the Natives said there were spirits and different gods who created different things in the Earth. While the Europeans thought that God created everything." My question is why couldn't the Europeans and the Native Americans share the land but, still have their different beliefs?
In Steven's Ferraro he stated about the two brothers in the Iriqois story. One brother is evil and one brother in good and how they created years, months, weeks, and days.
My question to you Steven is "what was the reason one brother was goodd, and why was the other one evil?"
In Dakota’s blog he said “why should they fight instead of forming together and tolerate the religions” I would say because they thought differently and they wanted more respect to god then any other nation. My question is why they didn’t try to get along with their religions and keep peace instead of fighting?
Elijah Harden said:
"The natives believed in more than one god, spirits and the Europeans only believed in one. However, the god/s created the same thing lightness and darkness etc."
My question for you is; If the Gods all created the same thing such as ligh/darkness etc'
THEN WHY DID THEY ALWAYS FIGHT WITH EACH OTHER IF THEIR GODS ALL CREATED THE SAME THING? It just makes no sence.
